Thought I’d take a moment to tell you about a new group in Salt Lake City. It is the\u00a0 Salt Lake Valley chapter of the worldwide Social Media Club organization based in San Francisco, Calif.<\/p>\n
Their mission is to become the voice of social media technology \u2014 whether it be for business or personal use \u2014 in the Salt Lake area. Their goals are to expand media literacy, provide educational opportunities and promote ethical standards.<\/p>\n
I believe this will be a great addition to the local scene and plan on attending. XMission is donating some schwag bags with goodies for the raffle.<\/p>\n
