Full-time/Part-time Technical Support Representative

Job Description:

$14/hr with included medical & dental insurance

Be a part of the XMission team! XMission, Utah's first independent Internet service provider, is looking for a motivated person to join our Technical Support team.

Duties include providing expert technical support to XMission's customers over phone, chat, and email for a variety of products including Internet service to businesses and homes, web hosting, VPS, VoIP, colocation, and email.

Qualified applicants will have:

  • Experience repairing Internet connections
  • Steady employment history
  • Customer service experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Working knowledge of computers & the Internet
  • A positive attitude, be punctual, and be a team player

Customer Service and Sales Representative

Job Description:

XMission is a local Internet provider in Salt Lake seeking a sales and billing representative for a full time position. We are looking for a motivated candidate with strong communication skills to join our customer service department to take incoming sales and billing calls. This person is responsible for selling our residential Internet services and assisting customers with billing questions and payments.

Qualified candidates must possess:

  • Strong work ethic and initiative
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service on the phone, email and via chat
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced, flexible, team based environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Computer and Internet literacy
  • Ability to self-manage, requiring minimal supervision
  • Professional attitude, appearance, & willingness to learn

Successful candidates will:

  • Understand Internet technologies and have the ability to educate customers on the services and benefits provided by XMission
  • Sell XMission products to new clients and up-sell services to existing clients
  • Answer incoming calls and assist with walk-in customers
  • Check email, voicemail, and ticketing system frequently and respond to inquiries promptly
  • Maintain personal sales reports and meet sales targets
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Handle accounts receivable and collections
  • Perform routine audits of accounts
